Adams Girl's Run Bike, Pink/Black Reviews
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful One of the best purchases I ever made, December 6, 2009 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Adams Girl's Run Bike, Pink/Black (Sports) Of all the thousands of things I have purchased for my kids, this has to be one of the BEST purchases. My little girl has gotten so much use out of it. These run bikes are so great for little ones to learn balance and they can really get going on them after a while. She likes that she can (almost) keep up with her big brother riding his bike. What I really like about this bike is that it looks just like a real bike, as opposed to the wooden run bikes. My only complaint with this bike is that I was expecting the tires to be air filled just like a real bike but they are made of some type of a durable foam. I was worried about this at first because we live out on a mile of gravel road. But the bike was just too cute to send back. We've had it over a year now and the tires have held up just fine. Now that she's almost 4, I wish the tires were 12" as she's getting big for it but the seat adjusts up just fine and she should still get lots more play out of it. She's practicing on... Read more

I bought this bike on closeout from a local dealer on a whim and I haven't regreted it for a minute. I bought it for my daughter when she was 2 years old and she instantly fell in love with it. For the first couple of months, she mostly just kindof walked while hanging on to the handlebars or would scoot around with at least one foot on the ground at all times. A few months later however, she's really moving along. She only puts her feet down to build up speed and has learned to prop her feet up on the chainstay area (no chain but if you're a biker you'll know what I'm taling about). She has just recently started riding off of curbs around our house and just this weekend started jumping it off of a 12" tall concrete slab next to the house! As for the tires, yeah, they would seem a little nicer as air filled, but would also be a lot heavier. Considering that your... Read more
1 of 3 people found the following review helpful Great starter bike, January 4, 2010 By This review is from: Adams Girl's Run Bike, Pink/Black (Sports) I purchased this bike for my 2 1/2 year old so that she could keep up with her older sister and her friends. It is the perfect height, looks sporty, and the seat and handlebars are made from quality materials. The wheels themselves are not great as they are made from some kind of foam and I was expecting them to be air-filled. They will last until we replace this with a real bike but this is not the bike to get for a "hard riding" kid. Overall, it is cute, will serve the interm purpose, and she was happy with it.
